Founded in 1881 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marquette University has been educating people for more than 120 years. Alvernos Conference Center, a part of Alverno College, offers a range of recreational facilities and community services. It features a 5,000-plus-square-foot carpeted center that includes two-story, glass-enclosed rotunda with terrazzo floor and entryway, as well as banquet facilities that can accommodates over 350 people. The conference center specializes in on-site catering services that include formal banquets, gourmet buffets, barbecues, picnics, theme parties, and breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. It primarily conducts wedding receptions, business meetings, seminars, holiday parties and other special events. It offers classrooms on rent and also provides summer lodging facilities for overnight accommodations. Alvernos Conference Center is located in Milwaukee.
