I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each one of my patients. By listening to their problems and concerns, and combining that with a common sense diagnostic and treatment approach, I strive to help each individual achieve their best cardiovascular health.
I enjoy creating a close relationship with my patients covering all breadths of cardiovascular care. As an imaging specialist, my initial goal is to diagnose and treat. Our long-term goal always remains however, to prevent the progression of cardiac diseases and ensure the highest quality of life. Patients in my practice become a part of our family, with immediate access to cardiology care when needed.
I have been in practice for more than 25 years, and during this time have been able to watch the evolution of all of the exciting technology we can offer our patients, including imaging and interventions with stents. But my true attraction to the practice of medicine and cardiology has been the relationships with patients, who become your friends, and their families who you get to know in their greatest times of need. Compassionate care is what its all about.
I became a doctor because I have a love for life and I wanted to save lives. I do everything in my power to help my patients. Sometimes that need is as vital as my medical training allows. Other times, its a personal touch, like offering extra kindness just when its needed most.
I went into the specialty of cardiovascular medicine not only because of my interest in the cutting-edge technology associated with cardiac and peripheral vascular intervention, but also because of the relationships that you build with patients and their families. When you treat a patient, you also treat every person who loves that patient. Being a doctor is about saving the life of someones spouse, parent or friend.
