The Beacon Medical Group Pediatrics team specializes in providing comprehensive care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults. We are dedicated to preventive medicine as well as serving the needs of your sick child. Our team works closely with Beacon Health System hospitals as well as nationally recognized children?s hospitals in Chicago, Indianapolis and Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our team of family caregivers will work with you to help you manage your health and wellness through discussion, analysis of your health history and establishment of a long-term care relationship. For your convenience, X-ray, EKG, laboratory, bone density testing and spirometry testing services are offered on-site. Our convenient, on-site laboratory is available 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
Marilyn Jean Bull, MD received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed her internship at Chicago Wesley Memorial Hospital and her residency at Childrens Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She also served as a clinical fellow in birth defects and genetic counseling at Boston Floating Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Medical Genetics and has Subspecialty board certification in neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Mary Hope Griffin, MD received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree from Indiana University. She did medical mission work in Rwanda before completing her residency at the University of Chicago. She is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Griffin has been associated with Beacon Neighborhood Health Centers since 2009, where she sees patients at HealthLinc Centennial. Before serving at Beacon Medical Group, she worked at the health center of the University of Virginia, as well as at practices in Athens, Ohio, and Arlington Heights, Illinois. In addition, she lived for a year with her family in Ireland. Dr. Griffin has a special interest in developmental pediatrics and provides evaluations for developmental delay in toddlers in conjunction with the Riley Developmental Clinic. Her personal interests include cooking, reading, socializing and traveling with her family.

While Beacon Childrens Hospital Critical Kids physicians do not accept outpatient appointments, rest assured that our team is here to help your hospitalized child.
Carol D. Luzzi, MD received her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she also completed her internship and residency in pediatrics. She completed her fellowship in neonatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. In her spare time, Dr. Luzzi likes to hike, ride bicycles, read, water ski and cross-country snow ski with her husband and children.

He completed his pediatric residency at Advocate Lutheran General Childrens Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Kinney received the Faculty Teaching Award for Outstanding Resident in Pediatrics from Chicago Medical School.
