Dr. Salman Khan is a leading provider of bariatric and internal medicine in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Khan provides numerous treatments to his patients through his practice, Metabolic Clinic & Research Center. Dr. Khan obtained his undergrad degree at the Adamjee Government Science College in 1989. He went on to complete medical school at Dow University of Health Sciences in 1995. Dr. Khan attended Surgical training as well as Internal Medicine training at LAC+USC Medical Center. During his 11year stay at LAC+USC Dr was also involved in Multicenter, NIH granted and University-based clinical research projects. The efforts of Dr. Khan have already resulted in a number of publications. He co-authored more than 15 papers in highly reputed medical journals that have been published in Circulation, Am J Cardiology, and Am J Obster Gynecology. His interest in research let him Master’s program at USC in Regulatory Sciences. At the Metabolic Clinic & Research Center, Dr. Khan’s philosophy focuses on encouraging patients to be a part of the treatment team and provides collaborative, comprehensive medical care. The practice is highly relationship and patient-centered. It also offers primary care for adults and the elderly in addition to weight loss services. His number one priority is the health of his patients. Dr. Khan strives to provide warm, continuous support to each of his patients throughout the treatment process.
