Arif Goreja, MD received his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan, and completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in New Jersey and his fellowship in nephrology from Winthrop University in New York. He is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty certification in nephrology and clinical hypertension. Dr. Goreja was an associate professor of medicine and section chief of nephrology at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. He most recently served as chairperson of medicine at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington. Dr. Goreja is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Society of Hypertension, the Renal Physicians Association and the American College of Physicians.
Samira H. El-Zind, MD, PA received her medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt and completed her general residency at Jersey City Medical University in New Jersey. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and neurology fellowship at Duke University. Board-certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology, she is a member of the Child Neurology Society and the American Medical Association. Dr. El-Zind enjoys caring for children with neurological needs, including epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, cerebral palsy and other neurologic concerns. She is an avid animal lover, especially cats and dogs.
Michael F. Steinberg, MD, FACC received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Florida Shands Hospital and cardiothoracic fellowship at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester New York. He is director of cardiothoracic surgery at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Board-certified in surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, Dr. Steinberg, a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, has authored numerous specific papers focusing on RNA processing and atherogenesis. He has three children and he and his children enjoy camping, backpacking, whitewater rafting and local theater.

Javed A. Malik, DO received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and completed both his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Franciscan Alliance St. James Health/Midwestern University. Dr. Malik is board certified in hematology/oncology, as well as internal medicine. He served on the Cancer Committee and Tumor Board at St. James Health, and is currently a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Chicago Lymphoma Rounds, American Osteopathic Association, and the American Society of Hematology. Michael S. Kozak, MD received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, masters degree in public affairs from Indiana University, and medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his residency at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in South Bend. He is board certified in family medicine and currently practices at HealthLinc Centennial. A South Bend native, Dr. Hall received his masters degree in physiology and biophysics from Indiana University, and his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine with Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Dr. Hall is board-certified in family medicine and has a special interest in pediatrics and office surgery.
Wahaj M. Zaidi, MD received his medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed a residency in pediatrics from State University of New York at Syracuse College of Medicine and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology from University of Rochester Medical Center Strong Memorial Hospital. Board-certified in pediatrics, he served as a pediatric gastroenterologist at Children? Hospital of New Jersey, John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California and Fadi Haddad, M.D. Inc. in Walnut Creek. Dr. Zaidi is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. He has conducted lectures and presentations at national and international meetings on topics ranging from food allergies to acute pancreatitis.
Andrew J. Fiedler, MD graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at North Carolina Baptist Hospital/Wake Forest University and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography. His special interests include preventive cardiology (including nutrition and exercise prescription), heart failure evaluation and management, heart valve disease, sports cardiology and cardial ultrasound (echocardiography).

Brandon W. Dr. Sawyer received her medical degree from the Collegium Medicum, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine and fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Sawyer is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine.
