Westfield Family Physicians is an all-volunteer health care organization that offers diagnostic and treatment services for a range of diseases, disorders and health conditions for underserved individuals of all ages. It provides medical supervision, medication management and clinical care services. Westfield Family Physicians serves communities in various underdeveloped and developing countries, such as the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Tanzania and Bangladesh, as well as the isolated Native Alaskan populations. Through its subsidiary, Great Lakes Medical Research, the organization conducts research studies and phase two through four clinical trials in the therapeutic areas related to hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, urology and cardiovascular diseases.
