Laboratory Services, a department of the Lima Memorial Health System, provides a range of diagnostic solutions for individuals of all ages. It serves physicians and patients in more than 10 counties throughout west-central Ohio. The department offers laboratory testing, evaluation and specimen pickup services. It maintains over five patient service centers in the cities of Lima, Cridersville, Ada, Russells Point and Wapakoneta in Ohio. The department coordinates the West Central Ohio Clinical Laboratory Science Program, which provides students with didactic coursework in the areas of hematology, immunohematology, biological fluids, and clinical chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and laboratory science theory and practice. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The department is accredited by The Joint Commission and the American Association of Blood Banks. The Lima Memorial Health System is a medical care facility that offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services.
