HAWC, also known as Help for Abused Women and Children, is located in Salem, Mass. It maintains a 24-hour hotline service and has volunteers who provide information, support and referrals to more than 3,500 women. The organization also offers short-term individual counseling for over 500 women and helps them to create a safe, violence-free life for themselves and their children. HAWC promotes healthy teen dating relationships through educational outreach and classroom activities in and after-school settings. It additionally conducts numerous education and training activities throughout the year to raise public awareness and create community-wide prevention strategies to respond to and prevent domestic violence. The organization supports various training sessions to community and health care agencies, churches, and civic and fraternal groups.

The Omaha Police Officers Associations Hall is conveniently located North of 132nd and Center Street at 13445 Cryer Avenue and is the perfect location for hosting any type of event. For business meetings and seminars, wedding, birthday and anniversary parties, as well as retirement and graduation celebrations, the OPOAs Cryer and Buffalo Halls can accommodate most any gathering. The hall comfortably seats 300 plus patrons.

Unlike other halls which require you to select a specific catering service or limit your menu, you can bring in your own food and beverages to your event. There is ample space both in the parking lot and on the dance floor to guarantee a good time is had by all. Since 1920, Berkshire County residents have turned to the Brien Center as the primary provider of assistance for the mental health and substance abuse issues that they or their families may be enduring. Here they have found high quality care and have been treated with dignity and respect. The Brien Center is the sole provider for the uninsured and under insured, offering a sliding fee scale to accommodate the neediest, both in terms of their mental health and financial capacity. The Brien Center services are open to all segments of the Berkshire County population, serving more than 10,000 clients annually at the Briens North, Central and South County locations. Three thousand of our clients are children. We currently provide Berkshire County-wide services that include the following: residential, rehabilitation, educational, employment, outreach, housing support, nursing, wellness support, psychiatric services, medication management, and medical and social day support for elderly and younger disabled adults. DVIP provides services to victim/survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and human trafficking. In todays society, intimate partner violence is widely known to be one of the greatest physical dangers to women. Women, men and children are murdered each year and the risk of child abuse is much greater in households where domestic violence occurs. Responding to intimate partner violence is critical and requires a community-wide effort. Support for victims of intimate partner violence and their loved ones is available in Johnson, Iowa, Cedar, Des Moines, Henry, Lee, Van Buren and Washington Counties through the Domestic Violence Intervention Program.
