A Chance to Change Foundation, established in 1979, is an adolescent addiction treatment center in Oklahoma City. The agency offers counseling for people of all ages for addiction and mental health disorders, as well as employee assistance programs to area businesses. A Chance to Change serves as an Area Prevention Resource Center offering education and prevention services and materials to the community. Certified by the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, A Chance to Change is a private, nonprofit 501 C-3 corporation. Its programs are designed for 12 to 16 weeks and include assessment, group counseling for children, education for the families and evaluation. The family meetings include information about relationship building within the family, communication skills, parenting issues, such as discipline and prevention concepts and skills.
