Diane's Books is one of the few privately-owned bookstores still around. It has the largest selection of family books in the United States, and continues to compete with the large chain stores.
Diane's extensive collection of fiction, nonfiction, coffee table, and children's books is truly an impressive sight. The store's Book Club events allow readers to share their experiences and meet authors during signings. Diane's Books offers a number of gift services including "Book of the Month Club," in which they will pick a book to send to a child or adult each month. The store also offers Gift Wagons, filled with books for newborns, birthdays or other special occasions.
Diane's Books works endlessly to give back to their loyal community. In addition to the book-related events they host, the store sets up an "Angel Tree" each Christmas to help donate hundreds of books to children in need. If there is one thing that can be said about this store, it is that Diane tries to get to know each of her customers personally.

Originally started in 1959 as a Florida business that sold colorful women's clothes, Lilly Pulitzer quickly grew into a national name that carried men's, women's and children's lines.
Lilly Pulitzer's lightweight, comfortable lifestyle clothing became an instant hit as fashion icons like Jacqueline Kennedy made the clothes a regular part of their wardrobe. In 1984, Lilly Pulitzer's retirement brought an end to the clothing line, however it was revived in 1993.
Today, the Lilly Pulitzer line is sold in signature stores, like the one on Greenwich Avenue, as well as in independent clothing boutiques and large department stores. While the name remains synonymous with colorful dresses and tops, Lilly Pulitzer offers a unique selection of men's and children's products. Check out the Lilly Pulitzer website for the complete line of clothing.
