Established in 1968, Cecil Community College is a public college located in North East, Md., offering various educational programs and transfer, career-credit and noncredit continuing educational courses. The college offers various courses to help students improve job skills, earn certifications and pursue various degree programs. Its bookstore offers new and pre-owned textbooks, computer software, school supplies, imprinted clothing, reference materials and snacks. The college campus also features a conference center that offers facilities for hosting corporate retreats, business meetings, conferences and classes. Its community cultural center hosts a variety of theater, music, dance and art events. The college s gallery showcases more than 10 exhibitions of visual arts annually, including sculpture, photography, pottery, painting, fiber arts, watercolors and student work. Its physical education center is home to the athletic offices as well as indoor basketball and specialized rooms for weight training, dance and hydrotherapy.
