Founded in 1996 in Nashville, Tenn., Community Education Partners is a provider of academic and behavior improvement programs for public school students. It focuses only on two types of students. One of the types includes disruptive and lowest-performing students in grades 6 through 12 and the other comprises non-disruptive, low-performing, credit deficient, grade-repeating students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 who are at risk of dropping out of school. The institute provides behavior-based intervention programs through customized curriculums and services delivered in a multi-disciplinary approach. It serves over 80,000 low-performing students laying focus on academic advancement, attendance, proper behavior and educational growth. Community Education Partners works in partnership with a number of school districts, teachers unions and community leaders to help students get back on track toward high school graduation.
