Measured Progress incorporated as Advanced Systems in Measurement and Evaluation in 1983. The year 2000 marked a significant shift for the organization. It changed its status to a nonprofit organization and its name to Measured Progress. The name change reflected its corporate mission: to improve teaching and learning by providing customized educational assessments and other services. The company provides assessment testing products and services, which includes TestWiz software, iBINDER Educational Services, large scale general and special education and the Steps in the Right Direction book. Along with its testing services, Measured Progress has been a voice in the discourse surrounding assessment and other educational issues.
