The Milpitas Unified School District oversees thirteen schools that provide education to more than 9,800 students. The superintendent is Cary Matsuoka. Regular school board meetings take place every other Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The district also offers child support services/child development centers with afterschool programs and day programs at various schools.
This Pearson Career Center offers certification examinations for various professional fields in the state of California. Doctors, lawyers and nurses who are seeking state certification can take those tests here. Pearson also offers complete learning solutions for potential applicants looking to take entry-level examinations (MCAT, LSAT) to enroll in medical or law schools.
