Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative was formed when the members of NCK Electric Cooperative in Belleville, Kan., Jewell-Mitchell Cooperative Electric in Mankato, Kan., and Smoky Hill Electric Cooperative in Ellsworth, Kan., voted to consolidate into one cooperative. Rolling Hills offers affordable two-way broadband Internet services to rural homes and businesses that lack access to digital subscriber lines or cable modem service. The service is provided through WildBlue Communications and the National Rural Telecommunication Cooperative. The company provides electric services to more than 10,000 members in approximately 15 counties in Kansas. Rolling Hills Electric Cooperative has an office location in Mankato.
