At The Bean Bag, you'll find friendly and flexible caterers ready to cater anything from casual Backyard Barbeques to formal Bat Mitzvahs. Founded as a coffee house in Bethesda over 30 years ago, their catering business has grown so much that in 2009 they moved to a larger location on Gude Drive in Rockville. There you'll find a full service deli as well, with enormous sandwiches, fresh soups, and "Rockville's best chocolate chip cookies" (which are delightfully irregular, boasting both crunchy edges and tall chewy centers).
The Bean Bag has a variety of specialty equipment for your event, including a stunning classic espresso maker for their mobile Espresso/Cappuccino Bar, an elegant chocolate fountain to highlight your desserts table, a cookie cart and a smoothie bar.
They can customize the catering menu to your wishes, and will even prepare your favorite dish using your own recipe. Homemade cookie tins and gourmet gift baskets can be delivered or shipped nationwide, and they sell fresh roasted Equal Exchange brand (fair trade) coffee beans as well.
