Hardt Electric has become one of the most reputable and reliable electrical contractors in Chicago since it was founded more than 30 years ago. It began as a six-electrician operation in 1973. The company s commercial and industrial department specializes in tenant build outs; switchgear and substations services; life safety systems; emergency service; cell towers; generators; and grounding audits. The residential department specializes in midrise and multiunit condo developments; custom, high-end single family homes and condos; and rehab and renovations. The communications division provides voice and data cabling systems for a wide variety of contractors and businesses, including specialization in category six and fiber-optic cabling; riser and backbone cabling; and coaxial cabling.
