Hitran Corporation is a manufacturer of standard and specialty magnetic components for end-user and original equipment manufacturing applications. The company s magnetic components include dry type general purpose, drive isolation and high voltage distribution transformers, chokes, reactors and specialty transformers and inductors. The company was founded in 1950, with a merger of the Eastern Transformer Company and ETRACO Manufacturing to become the Hindle Transformer Company. In 1982, it expanded the location to 50,000 square feet to accommodate production demands. Hitran Corporation split in 2002, to form Hindle Power.
