Pantronix Corporation, founded in 1974, was established to provide semiconductor-manufacturing services for the aerospace, medical, military, communications, automotive and computer markets. Pantronix Corporate Headquarters in Fremont, Calif., and occupies almost 100,000 square feet of space. It is equipped to assemble and test devices used in satellites, space probes, military and commercial aircraft, ground and naval systems and implanted medical applications. Pantronix also provides complete electronic manufacturing services from components to tested modules/subsystems/systems and complete box builds. Its Photonics Division provides design, packaging, assembly, mechanical assembly, alignment, integration, electrical test, optical test and turnkey solutions for the fiber optic communications, optical applications and telecommunications industries. In 1989 Pantronix established Amertron Inc. in the Philippines and has plants in metro Manila and at Clark Special Economic Zone. Global expansion continued in 2001 when it opened a full-service facility in Kunshan, China.
