Isla Vista School offers academic classes in kindergarten through sixth grade. The school teaches more than 400 students and has a staff of over 25 full-time certified teachers, including reading and language specialists, honors tutors, art instructors and instructional assistants. It has a parent-teacher association and a school site council that supports parents, students and the school. The school organizes various extracurricular activities, including Veterans Day parade, jog-a-thon, picture day, multicultural faire, and costume and mask parade.
