Flometrics was founded in a garage in 1990. The company provides in-house fluid dynamics and thermodynamics expertise. Flometrics has since grown into and out of two different facilities and has helped companies throughout the world solve engineering problems and develop new technologies. The company s engineers are well versed in design engineering. Flometrics facilities have four computer-aided design stations with high performance simulation and mathematical modeling software. Flometrics is headquartered in a 3,500-square-foot industrial building in Solana Beach, Calif. The facility houses both Flometrics laboratories and office space for the engineers. The laboratories include a fluid dynamics wet lab, a flow visualization and laser lab and an electronics prototyping and assembly lab. Flometrics also has a small in-house centralized network configuration machine shop capable of fabricating prototype parts, as well as an injection-molding machine.
