The Beck Center for the Arts, located at Lakewood, Ohio, is one of the largest cultural arts center serving Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. The center provides a variety of programs, events and activities and serves more than 3,600 students each year through its educational programs in dance, theater, visual arts and music. It has merged with Riverside Academy of Music. The Main Stage and Studio theaters entertain 12,000 people and the Youth Theater is one of the oldest operating childrens theaters in the United States. Beck Centers art gallery is home to the Cleveland Artists Foundation that presents numerous art shows throughout the year. The Education Outreach department at the center provides curriculum-integrated hands-on arts instruction to students.
