The Church of St. Luke & St. Matthew is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island and a member of the Anglican Communion. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated each Sunday at 10am with traditional hymns. The congregation, centered in one of Brooklyn's most beautiful churches, has an active educational and social program to aid the needy in the community. In cold weather, the church hosts homeless guests overnight on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Bible study is offered on Thursdays at 5:30pm. The Rev. Michael T. Sniffen is priest in charge.
St. Philip's Episcopal Church is a religious institution that provides spiritual services and guidance to its community. It offers a variety of programs, activities and organizations, including the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, the Women's Guild, Episcopal Church Women, food pantries and ministries, including prison and transit outreach.
St. Mary's Episcopal Church was established in 1836. Sunday worship services are at 10:30am and a Ghana ministry service follows at 2pm. The Rev. Jerry Keucher is minister.
On the quiet, church-heavy block of St. John's Place, Saint John's Episcopal Church has sat for over since 1826. The church is known for its active music program as well as a diverse congregation. The church also features a serene meditation and memorial garden.
All Saints Episcopal Church is an Episcopal/Anglican English-Gothic style church built in 1893, though part of the church was reconstructed after a fire in 1976. The windows, for which the church is known, are Tiffany windows transferred from the church's original location on Fourth Avenue. The church offers several study and interest groups, as well as a Uganda and Sudan mission program.
The facilities are also available for event rental.
