The Church of the Transfiguration is an Episcopal Church on Broad Street that organizes a food drive and has a day care center. Each Sunday the Church gathers from 8:45am to noon for an informal Eucharist, Bible study and Holy Eucharist. The church has an excellent adult and youth choir and other groups to be involved in. The Edgewood Food Closet is located in the basement of this church and offers food to anyone who needs it on Tuesday and Friday from 9am-11am and Wednesday from 5pm-6:30pm.
