Upper Room Ministries is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, having started in 1935. This group began by publishing a daily devotional guide in April 1935 in San Antonio, Texas. The guide is now one of five magazines that the Upper Room publishes in what is now a global ministry. The ministry headquarters is in Nashville, Tennessee.

The church says that if you do not belong to a local church, you can become a member of Upper Room's worldwide family. Here you will have 24/7 access to spiritual guidance, help and countless forms of support. You will also have full-time access to one of the Upper Room pastors. Live webcasts of the worship services are available online.
