Pilates Sports Center was established by Kelli Altounian and Andromeda Trumbull and voted the best of Encino for Pilates in 2009 by the US Commerce Association. In addition to Pilates, the center teaches Zumba, Barre, yoga and belly dance. A schedule of classes and fees is available at the website. Private sessions and Pilates teacher training are offered.
Pure Pilates was founded by Amanda Gold as a means to utilize pilates for a healthier life. Her programs include private training, reformer classes, mat classes, kundalini yoga classes, dance therapy classes and senior programs. It is one of only a few pilates studios that offer pre-natal and post-natal programs. Class schedules are available online, and arrangements can be made for one-on-one instruction. Free parking is available, and payment is by cash, Visa and Mastercard only.
