It also offers services such as blasting consultation and blast design, which utilize laser profilers, borehole deviation measurement tools, seismographs and high-speed cameras. The company serves both domestic and international clients in the quarrying, mining, construction and seismic industries. Austin Powder was founded in 1833 and has headquarters in Cleveland. It operates additional manufacturing plants in McArthur, Ohio; Camden, Ark.; Brownsville, Texas; and Valle Hermosa, Mexico. Its facilities are certified according to ISO 9001 standards.
