Welcome to Crooked Tree Garlic Farm, where we take GREAT pride in growing green.We are a pesticide and herbicide free, naturally grown farm.We inherited 10 acres of dead soil and have spent countless hours replenishing our land with all natural fertilizers.After many hours of research we came upon something called "green manure" and found it to be the best option for our production. Green manure is a fertilizer made of growing differnts types of cover crop plants that are then worked back into the soil for nutrients. Along with the green manure we also use compost to aid in fertilizing the soil. Compost is decayed organic matter that helps make our soil healthy and well fertilized. By using this type of gardening strategy we have come up with a recipe for a healthier, disease and insect resistant soil.Keeping our garlic chemical free not only benefits our bodies but also our environment as well by reducing the chemical run off that ends up in our water systems. It has been a long and entertaining process that will prove its worth when you taste our products. All our work on our farm from planting to harvesting is completed with our own two sets of hands. All of our shipments are also hand packed and sent directly from us to you, our happy customers.Our shipments for all orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail. Please allow at least 5 business days for delivery. We will start shipping in the middle of August.
