Mid America Clinical Laboratories is a joint venture company owned by and in partnership with Community Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital, Quest Diagnostics and CoLab. The company is the largest clinical laboratory in Indiana and completes more than 4.5 million tests per year. Mid America works to serve the needs of the patient, the physician and its employees throughout central Indiana with more than 30 patient service centers that treat in excess of 800 patients a day. The company also provides clinical laboratory services to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. It operates an indigent patient program that can adjust some or all laboratory charges for patients who are uninsured and cannot afford to pay for their clinical laboratory testing. Mid America Clinical Laboratories is certified by the College of American Pathologists.
