As a child advocacy center, we provide a child-friendly, safe setting in which law enforcement and Childrens Division personnel can conduct investigations of alleged child abuse. These teams include specially trained law enforcement Family Services personnel, prosecutors, juvenile officers, medical professionals, mental health professionals, and Children s Center staff. These professionals meet child victims and their families at Children s Center and, by coming together as a team, reduce the number of interviews child victims must go through.
