F-M Ambulance is the largest Advanced Life Support ground ambulance provider in North Dakota. It is a community-oriented ambulance service that provides emergency medical coverage not only to the cities of Fargo-Moorhead, but also to many of the citizens of Cass and Clay Counties. Its team members are made up of field crews that consist of nationally-registered EMT-Paramedic, Intermediates and Basics. All 9-1-1 calls are answered at two separate Public Safety answering points and relayed to the service via radio or telephone. F-M has 24-hour dispatch that utilizes computer-aided-dispatch software. ReadyWheels, another service provided by F-M Ambulance, is a special transportation service. This service is available 24 hrs a day, seven days a week to provide door-to-door wheelchair service to provide local or distant transfers.
