Century Concrete of Virginia Beach, Va., was founded in 1966 as a small concrete subcontractor with only six employees. During the past thirty-four years, it has enjoyed continuous and steady growth, which has propelled the company into a multi-million dollar concrete specialty contractor with over 250 employees. Century s diverse client base includes various federal government agencies, such as the United States Department of the Navy, U.S. Department of the Army and the Army Corps of Engineers. Other clients include the Virginia Department of Transportation, municipalities throughout the state of Virginia, well-known general contractors in Virginia and the Eastern U.S. and various private owners and developers of major commercial and industrial projects. The company has offices in Virginia Beach and Richmond, Va., and works on projects throughout Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.
