Located on the corner of Lexington and Main streets, the U.S. Navy Recruiting office enlists new members into the Navy. It is part of a larger Armed Forces Recruting Center for the three other military branches, which are located in the same building.
It is easily accessible by car, or by the MBTA's 354 bus, which drops off at 20 Lexington Street, in the heart of downtown Waltham.
The U.S. Army Career Center is located next to the Sacred Hearts Parish church on Main St. As soon as you walk in the door, the Army officers will be more than willing to assist you. They have an interview process to help determine your qualifications. Walk-ins are accepted, so there is no need to make an appointment.
The U.S. Army Career Center is active in the community and provides support for a lot of local high school and elementary schools. It also runs Project Strong and various other youth programs for children 10 and under. The office participates in sponsorship programs and participates in local parades.
