Although incorporated in 2000, the company has quickly escalated in becoming one of the leaders in Arizona of providing superior quality earthwork and asphalt. This was made possible by the 20+ years of experience that several of our employees have spent gaining expertise and knowledge. As they say, "knowledge is power." We believe this to be true as we continue to show that our combined knowledge enables us to foresee and avoid potential problems, saving our customers money and valuable time. Jerry Blount, our president and founder, has not stopped learning and working since the age of 16 when he first started in the construction industry. Through the years his apparent strong work ethic and leadership skills have facilitated his promotion into a variety of roles and positions allowing him to see many facets of the industry. These qualities and experiences form the foundation whereon Blount Contracting has been built.
