The company processes all major brands of bananas, depending upon the availability. Kontos state-of-the-art computerized bagging machines provides accuracy in weights and quality packing. The company runs five machines seven days a week to ensure the freshest products available. Kontos has the capability to load up to four railroad cars at a time. In addition, Kontos can load and unload 16 trucks at one time. The company provides products to the following brands Chiquita, Dole, Del Monte, Turbana, Specials and Plantains.
