It is an affiliate of the National Epilepsy Foundation. Founded in 1954, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota provides programs and services to individuals with epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota provides a variety of services, such as epilepsy education awareness programs, information and referral services, advocacy, support, youth and family programs. The foundation organizes the Camp Ozawizeniba for boys and girls with epilepsy and other seizure disorders. Its 152 acres of land includes waterfront, cabins, a lodge for program activities, dining hall, centrally located shower and toilet facilities, chapel, health service, arts and crafts building, athletic field and a game area.
