The heart of the company s business is A-Lab, a full-service metals testing laboratory that offers its services to other Gray America companies and outside customers. Another subsidiary, L&H Threaded Rods, is a major producer and distributor of suspension parts, such as u-bolts, nuts, washers, center bolts and hex-head screws. New Dimension Metals purchases large quantities of hot-rolled steel bars for downstream use on smaller products. Finally, Scarlet & Gray is a contract carrier that specializes in hauling raw material to Gray America s facilities and hauling finished products to its customers. Each Gray America subsidiary operates under one roof at the company s 180,000-square-foot plant and corporate headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.

The Bimac Corporation produces nickel and cobalt alloys such as nickel-chrome alloys, nickel alloy and a number of other special proprietary alloys. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company.
