Webers Farm is a roadside farm market featuring fresh fruits and vegetables. We are also a Gift Barn, Country Bakery and Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor. In the spring, we are a greenhouse filled with beautiful flowers. During the fall season, our Cider Mill produces fresh apple cider. Also during the fall, we are an entertainment farm, providing a variety of activities for visitors. Located just 7 miles from Baltimore City and 1 mile from the Baltimore Beltway, we are a little bit of the country in the middle of a very busy community, surrounded by schools, townhouses, homes, apartments, and shopping centers. In 1908, Jacob Weber purchased 100 acres of farmland in what was a very rural area of Baltimore County. He began growing and selling fruits and vegetables. He also tended dairy cows, and raised chickens and sold the eggs. After Jacobs death, his son Earl decided to concentrate on the growing and marketing of fruits and vegetables. In 1947, Earl purchased a used cider mill and began to produce apple cider. During the 1960s the area around the farm saw tremendous growth and development. Some of the acreage of the original farm is now the site of Pine Grove Middle School. In 1971, Earl moved his farming operation to a large orchard in Harford County. Since 1977, Steve Weber ( Earls son ) and his wife Jo-Ann have run the farm market and cider mill. In that time, they have continued to offer fresh fruit and vegetables and fresh-pressed cider. They have also expanded into gifts, bakery, ice cream, spring plants and flowers, and fall entertainment attractions.
