Trendwood Incorporated was established in 1985 in Phoenix, by five dedicated individuals. Today founders are active in managing the company. Over the past 15 years Trendwood has adjusted its product mix to fit with both retail and consumer demand. In the early years the product mix was focused on promotional pine Waterbed headboards and frames. Trendwood was a market leader in the production of solid wood hardside waterbed frames. As the market for flotation sleep changed, Trendwood adjusted the product line with the addition of solid pine youth bedroom furniture. Today the product line still includes futon frames, Master bedrooms and a line of youth Bunkbeds. All of Trendwoods products are manufactured in Phoenix. The manufacturing area encompasses two buildings and totals more than 120,000 square feet. Trendwood has invested in state of the art equipment. The work force has grown to more than 300 people.
