Our company has been in the wood and furniture business for over eighty years. Our US based operation, however, started early in 2001. Nativa offers top of the line furniture collections in Spanish, Mediterranean and now also contemporary styles. Our company bases its success in the uniqueness, top of the line quality and low market prices of our product line. The Uniqueness comes from the design and exotic woods used in our collections. Furniture design is executed by our staff of Architects and Designers in Argentina and Brazil, countries known for their European heritage and exquisite taste. This translates into collections that are exclusive designs that are only offered by Nativa. Our collections show a strong Spanish and Mediterranean (now also contemporary) influence coupled with transitional lines. The different woods are a major element to the exoticness of our collections. These woods come from a region in South America known as "Las tres Fronteras", the term means the three borders and is used to define the area in which the borders of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil merge. This vast region covers millions of acres of both natural and artificially planted tree farms. With environment being our top priority, we are committed to only using trees from controlled plantation farms that are approved by the U.S government. The four different species that we work with are considered some of the most beautiful and hardest woods in the planet. At the moment, we only craft furniture collections in the exclusive Argentinean Ironwood, Patagonian Cherry, Paraguayan Green Ironwood, Zebrawood, Brazilian Cherry and Lyptus. In furniture crafting, a high quality product consists of the materials used and the cabinet-making techniques employed during the crafting stages. We only use kiln dried (6% moisture content) SOLID and extremely dense and exotic wood in ALL of our products. The craftsmanship secrets used in all our collections have been passed from generation to generation making our cabinet-makers the heart and soul of Nativa. The manual nature of our production techniques is what assures that every piece has a character of its own and also what guarantees that every piece will exceed your expectations in every possible way. A good example of the craftsmanship is the mortise and tenon joinery used on all of our chairs, not a single nails is to be found. Another example would be the tongue and groove as well the stainless steel adjustment rods used on ALL table tops. The combinations of the above factors directly determine the life expectancy of a piece of furniture. In the case of our collections, they are crafted and expected to last for hundreds of years
