Cole Hersee Company has been manufacturing electrical switches for vehicles since its founding in 1914. Many of the electrical and electronic switches and connectors are specified by OEMs, or used as high-quality replacement parts. Its market has grown to include golf carts, airport luggage-handling equipment, roadbuilding graders, cherrypickers, behemoth mining trucks and a myriad of types of vehicles that construct and enable the business environment. Cole Hersee purchased Meyer Wire Company in 1988. This Hamden, Conn., manufacturer specializes in design and production of custom-coiled and retractile cables.
