A. Silvestri Garden Ornaments Factory has been a-family owned statuary business for five generations. Hailing from Tuscany, Italy, the Silvestri family has been making and importing fountains, statuaries, columns, planters and hand-carved granite and limestone since 1956. The artists' creations are made for gardens as well as grave sites. This location is the factory; the showroom is nearby at 2630 Bay Shore Boulevard. The factory is not open to the public.
Beyond the Garden Gate, a garden accent and gift shop, is located in the same building as the Design House Furniture Gallery. The entrance is facing Olive Drive, behind the main building; it opens directly into the outdoor garden accessories display.
The owner Pat Stromberg, opened the store in November 2009. The store offers fountains, outdoor furniture and statues as well as unique gift items. Some of the brands include Napa Pottery, Bethany Lowe, Le Cadeaux, Mud Pie, and Mill Valley Candles.
