Established in 1905, Exempla Lutheran Medical Center is a more than 400-bed, acute care, community hospital that is part of the Exempla Healthcare. Located in Wheat Ridge, Colo., its services include cardiology, oncology, orthopedic and emergency services. The emergency department at the medical center is a more than 50-bed, full-service department with a Level-3 trauma designation.
