Alfred H. Camus, the son of a French immigrant glass blower, founded Camus Electric Company in 1945. Those same expectations and ideals are carried by the third generation of the Camus family that operates one of the largest electrical contracting firms in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. Camas Electrics office is located in Shreveport, La. Some company projects are South Park Mall and Pierre Bossier Mall, along with Schumpert Medical and Willis-Knighton Medical Center.
