Triten Corporation, founded in 1946, is a remanufacturer of pump parts for the oil industry. The company expanded into welding and machining on alloy steels, introducing a process for hardfacing called Bulkwelding. Triten Corporation consists of three main operating subsidiaries: Alloy Products Group, Tapco International and International Alliance Group. Alloy Products Group is the leading manufacturer of wear resistance materials including overlay plate, hardfaced rolls and tubular hardfacing electrodes. TAPCO International supplies large engineered refinery valves and controls for the oil industry. The International Alliance Group concentrates on cat cracking, catalytic reforming and gasoline conversion units.
