Cedar City in Utah is governed by a council form of government. Cedar City residents elect the five council members and the mayor for four-year staggered terms, with elections held every two years. The Bureau of Land Management, an agency within the United States Department of the Interior, administers more than 250 million surface acres of Americas public lands, located primarily in nearly 15 Western states. The agency sustains the health, diversity and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
