Lambertis Italian Sausage was founded in 1946 by Jim and Jean Lamberti. Jim had discovered that the sausage offered at his familys local supermarket was growing in popularity. At that time, he decided to exclusively sell this great product that kept people coming back for more. Selling mainly to pizzerias and mom-and-pop establishments, the demand continued to grow and the business was on its way. From the very beginning, its always been about quality. Jim knew that for the business to be successful, they had to offer a premium product that was prepared with only the highest quality standards. He created the slogan "We serve those who serve the best" as a testament to the familys commitment to quality. Today the company has grown behind the efforts of the 2nd and 3rd generations of the Lamberti family. Daughter to Jim and Jean, Cindy Lamberti Pallotti is secretary and treasurer. Grandson Jay Pallotti is director of sales and grandson Joe Kelley is President. Along with their loyal, hard-working crew, these 3 family members proudly continue the tradition that now sees their product in some 100 supermarkets throughout Connecticut. In 1946, our authentic Italian sausage could be found in only a few mom-and-pop shops in the New Haven area. Weve come a long way since then. Today, youll find our fresh and tasty meats in over 100 supermarkets and independent grocery stores through the great state of Connecticut. Those stores include Shop Rite, Big Y, Price Chopper, Stop & Shop, and A&P. We can also be found in local supermarkets as well as some IGAs.
