Since the 1950s Spell's Grocery has been part of the Summerville community. It was a convenience store before convenience stores were ever conceived. The store has not changed over the years, except that a pool table has been placed in the back room.

The menu features burgers, salads, hot dogs, wings and other American items. Of coruse, there's a large selection of ice cream flavors, along with shakes, banana splits and sundaes.
