Karen Tobias Dance Studio and Gemini Gymnastics opened in 1972 and is located on Churchview Avenue in Baldwin Borough.
A team of professionally trained and certified instructors offers a variety of classes in the four fully equipped dance studios. The classes include Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Acrobatics, Hawaiian, Tahitian and Maori and are available for all ages. There are opportunities for all dancers to perform in dance recitals, performing-arts competitions and international dance competitions.
Gemini Gymnastics is a complete gymnastics program for girls. The fully equipped gym has a full-sized competitive spring board, balance beams, vault, uneven bars and tumble trak. The gymnastics school is run by a team of professional coaches certified by the USAG (United States Association of Gymnastics).
Shade Sisters, located on Clairton Boulevard, is a World-class dance studio that has teachers with decades of experience. Students that enroll in the Shade Sisters Dance Studio have the opportunity to learn or further develop their talents in a variety of traditional dances such as tap, ballet as well as many others in a safe and engaging environment.
