This large complex has been located in Aviation Park since 2003. It has an artistic and streamlined look with a circular section on the top. The performance space has 1,453 seats and great acoustics. The center promotes the cultural arts and is home to the LA Ballet. The Performing Arts Center is only open when there is an event.
At the Redondo Beach Castle, expect the unexpected. Owned by two magicians, it hosts a monthly Entertainment Night, open to the public and featuring magicians, musical performances, dancers and much more. And in case you can't make it live, perfromances are streamed live online so you can partake in the magic from afar. In addition, it hosts fundraisers for schools, charitable organizations and communities from around the world.
This location is a banquet hall that services three local churches: St. James Parish in Redondo Beach, St. Lawrence Martyr in Redondo Beach and St. John Fisher Parish in Rancho Palos Verdes. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month and hosts a number of other activities throughout the year.
Music Rhapsody offers music classes for babies, children and teens during the school year and summer. Classes offered include Babies/Kids Make Music, Introduction to Piano and Intro to Orff. Private lessons are also available for piano, guitar, voice, saxophone, clarinet and flute.
Entering this store is like walking into an exotic garden. Beautiful plants adorn a collection of unique ceramic and mosaic gift ideas as well as garden decorations. Resident artists Shauna Fontana, Rocky Post and Sophia Post use recycled materials to create incredible works of art. The garden is lined with shell mondalas, exotic mailboxes and birdbaths with sculpted glass fish. Tall fountains are glazed, oven fired, waterproofed and up for sale. This is the office and rehearsal space for the largest civic light opera in Southern California. This non-profit arts institution was founded in 1991 by James A. Blackman, who continues to act as executive director and producer. The Civic Light Opera has brought many American musical theater classics to the South Bay, including Oklahoma, Miss Saigon, Fiddler on the Roof, 42nd Street, Oliver!, Into The Woods and The Music Man.
